Veteran Owned Company

Many may not know that prior to starting Yeoman Group over 15 years ago,  owner David R. Switzer was known as Commander Switzer. As a part of the Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (a.k.a. JAGS),  David served proudly for over 20 years. The Department of Veteran's Affairs has recently recognized Yeoman Group as a Veteran Owned Small Business. Yeoman Group is actively searching for opportunities to fulfill or partner to fulfill government contracts. Interested parties may call the office directly at (248) 349-8363.

Foreclosure Assistance!

In today’s lending environment, loss mitigation is critical. Yeoman Group has found it very helpful to sit with the workout personnel to pre-screen commercial properties that the lender may have to foreclose upon. Early environmental advice can ease the bank’s burden and avoid costly mistakes. We offer this service at no fee. While we have begun contacting clients to set up a time to meet, please call our main office (248) 349-8363 if you would like to take advantage of this offer now.

All of Our Services are Overseen by an Environmental Attorney!

Yeoman Group is an environmental consulting firm that was created in conjunction with the Michigan Bankers Association in order to provide lenders with environmental risk management services, allowing them to avoid the overhead of an in-house environmental staff.  Yeoman Group combines all of the professionals needed to adequately address environmental questions, and we make this advice available on an as-needed, loan-by-loan basis.  Yeoman Group also performs all environmental due diligence assessments, Phase II on-site geologic services, makes complete purchase or lending recommendations and, in our relationship with an environmental law firm, seamlessly and cost-effectively obtains answers to environmental and real estate law questions.

Yeoman Group's professionals can quickly evaluate the environmental status of real property and offer solutions for property purchasers, as well as for lenders who may take the property as collateral for a loan.

While Yeoman Group’s history is deeply rooted in its relationships with commercial lenders, we have expanded our environmental service offering to commercial property developers and purchasers.  Our goal is to protect all parties involved in commercial property transactions.

What’s in the name? Tracing back over 1,000 years to merry old England, the Yeoman has served his client faithfully and with excellence.  Still today, to do a "Yeoman’s job" is one of the highest compliments that can be paid to an individual.
